This house is just wonderful. It s an old typical house from the island completely refurbished and renovated with taste. We felt like home. 4 adults and 2/3 children could perfectly sleep in. Both the owner and the lady caring the housse are fluent in English and very helpful. The cleaning lady is a dream and serviced the housse the best possible way. It is located in the hill facing ano mera and it s monastery, very quite. We never used the AC cause not needed as the windows are made in a way you can let them opened and have fresh air coming from outside with the wind. You have to know there are a few stairs inside to reach different level in the house but not much maximum three for each level and the mezzanine to read or relax. The terraces are just a dream even during a very windy day you can easily stay out for an aperitive or just admire sunset passing behind the monastery. We had the chance to be chosen by a mother cat who gave birth in the little garden during our stay adding a wonderful memory to this stay in what we could call the perfect holiday housse. There s no pool but the beach is at 10 minutes by car and city of Mykonos at 10/15 minutes as well. We would definitely go back there for our next stay in Mykonos. Give it a try and live the real mykonian experience.
Nothing all was perfect. A parking place may be but we had the chance to have one Free close the house during our stay.

The location is nice if you’re looking for a quieter part of Mykonos. It’s close to Ano Mera, which is a great area for families with young children, offering a more relaxed atmosphere than the main town. The apartment itself was very clean and well maintained, with a modern, minimal design. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a compact living room with a kitchen. There is also a small garden that is ideal for families to relax in and is partially sheltered from the wind, making it a pleasant outdoor space. The owner was very kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly apartment in a peaceful location.
We stayed at this apartment as a family and, overall, had a pleasant experience with a few important drawbacks. You will definitely need a car—not only to reach the center of Ano Mera but also to get anywhere else on the island. The biggest downside is the complete lack of parking. There is no private parking space, not even enough room for a small car, and there are no nearby public parking options. The closest place to leave your car is along the main road, approximately 350 meters away. This makes daily use quite inconvenient, especially when arriving with luggage or dropping off family members, as the narrow access road makes it difficult to maneuver or turn the car around before driving back to the main road. The owner was very kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our experience with the property manager was less positive. Even simple requests, such as obtaining an extra set of towels or bed linens, were unnecessarily difficult to arrange. I would also suggest providing a few more basic toiletries and kitchen essentials, such as extra toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, dishwashing supplies, and similar consumables. Since shops are not within easy walking distance and a car is required for everything, having these items readily available would make guests’ stay much more comfortable. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly apartment in a peaceful location. However, considering that a car is essential to reach virtually any destination from the property, the lack of any nearby parking is a significant drawback and considerably affects the overall convenience of the stay.
