The host left us a beautiful gift upon arrival. There was ample firewood for the fire. All ammenities were covered, shower, towels, blankets, kitchen utencils, even coffee! The place was so perfect, even though it was small.
The only thing I wanted to have there was an axe so I could cut more kindling. Other than that, I have no complaints at all. Maybe a drying rack for plates/utencils? Of course, if these things were there and I just didn't find them then apologies!

The cleanliness of the property was outstanding.
Location was brilliant five-minute walk to the beach.
Property were much better than the pictures show.
Maybe a coffee table in the lunge if I am being picky.
Nothing it is a great little house in a beautiful part of the world.
It is difficult to find fault.

Unfortunately we had horrible weather so could not enjoy the beach. But luckily we could curl up in front of the fire. The property had everything we needed for a short stay. Thanks for the bottle of wine and chocolates! Great touch.

Wye River is a beautiful, quiet seaside township nestled in the trees on steep hillsides. The shack had a nice verandah overlooking the valley to the sea beyond and where a pair of white cockatoos welcomed us at breakfast time. The shack was very reasonably priced for the area. The stove and fridge were modern, as was the washing machine. The Shack does not pretend to be anything other than its name, but for an overnight stay, it was fine.
The bathroom was a bit tired but fully functional.
