The hotel was immaculate and the stuff was really nice and friendly and there to answer any questions. The hotel and everything in a seemed brand new and the room service was outstanding I will becoming back next year and I can way to stay at the hotel again.

The modern interior design, everything was smooth. We have received our rooms clean and ready. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is close to the opera and Lafayette.

A/C heating didn't work during a cold rainy spell in Paris in May, the shower drain was blocked, Bluetooth speaker did not work. I reported these issues to the front desk, who were friendly when I presented requests, but the follow-through of the requests was bad. The shower, A/C and Bluetooth speaker were not fixed before my departure despite apparently sending maintenance to fix the issues whilst I was out. But when I would come back ready to shower and sleep after a long sight-seeing day, the issues were still unresolved. Although the staff are very attentive to requests via their Whatsapp, things did not get fixed. They offered me a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates to apologize on my final night - I don't drink wine or like chocolate much but kept the chocolates to try to not be rude by rejecting their gift. But the truth is that I paid a lot for a comfortable stay, so some wine and chocolate does not make up for the HOURS I spent trying to get the A/C heating to work late into the night. I was eventually offered portable heaters, which can make the air dry. Those are hours you just never get back on your limited and expensively paid-for overseas vacation. The staff didn't seem to appreciate that part. I also recommend using translation features to translate your requests into French first if you're English speaking. Some of the staff understood English, others got some of the requests wrong, so better to translate your requests into French to ensure nothing gets lost in translation. I think my biggest issue wasn't all of the broken facilities in my room, it was that I would feel gaslit by them saying "Yes it's fixed now", only to step back into the shower and have a pool immeidately forming by your feet throughout the shower. Even now I suspect the hotel might try to respond to my public review with sweet and kind sincere apologies, or worse than that- with excuses/justifications/defenses.
