We stayed at Andewi for two reasons, firstly because it was close to a wedding we were attending. Secondly because I’ve built a few sea container houses and these were similar in design so I’m always keen to see if there is anything I can learn.
So, for us, the location was good but it is not close to the normal touristy places. It’s geared more towards a domestic market.
It is very good value for money.
Please bear in mind that this accommodation is very good value for money and the issues I raise should be noted with that in mind.
We stayed in cabin One which is at the front and next to the common access door. The door bangs quite loudly.
They need to install a vent or fan in the bathroom. There was a mould issue in the bathroom which was also very hot during the day.
The plinth under the aircon has bad water damage from moisture.
There is a light behind the wall in the shower. The wiring is not protected and terminated with electrical tape only. Not sure if the light is connected to a low voltage transformer but regardless, I was a little sceptical so we left the light off.
The water pressure was totally absent as was the hot water. We worked out that if you tried to shower in the morning, when all the other guests were showering, the water pressure and hot water was terrible. Any other time of the day, it was fine.
This would be a simple fix with a pressure bulb or by installing individual water tanks and pumps to each cabin.
We didn’t raise it with the management as we weren’t that fussed and remember, it’s very good value for money.

We stayed at this property and really enjoyed our time here. Although there’s no pool, the place is very comfortable and peaceful. The room is clean, tidy, and has a modern minimalist design. The location in Abianbase, Badung is convenient and easy to reach. The staff is friendly and responsive. Perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and cozy place to stay in the Badung area
