In the Roussillon plain, nestled between the sea and the mountains, discover the town of Thuir. A vibrant and culturally rich community, it boasts shops, restaurants, a market, and festivals. Don't miss the Byrrh cellars and a tasting of their famous aperitif. Located just a few kilometers from the holiday rental, Castelnou is one of the most beautiful villages in France. It has preserved its medieval character with ramparts punctuated by eight towers and four gates. Here, a multitude of outdoor activities await you: hiking, cycling, and vineyard tours. This fully renovated former barn, opening onto a landscape of peach trees, is located within a large farmhouse in the countryside and comprises: Ground floor: Large living room with a fully equipped kitchenette: 4-burner ceramic hob, Nespresso and filter coffee makers, kettle, and toaster. Separate WC First floor: Each bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 1: Two single beds (90x190cm) Bedroom 2: Two single beds (90x190cm) Separate WC Second floor: Each bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 1: Two single beds (90x190cm) Bedroom 2: One double bed (160x200cm) Separate WC There is a terrace with a large, unfenced, wooded garden, furnished with garden furniture, a barbecue, table tennis, and a trampoline. The swimming pool is shared with two other gîtes on the property (where the owner resides), located approximately 70 meters from the gîte. The swimming pool is secured by a fence for young children.
