Peaceful mountain retreat near El Yunque, perfect for families and nature lovers. This private 2-bedroom home features beautiful tropical views, a full kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, a cozy front porch, and A/C in the master bedroom. Surrounded by lush greenery and fruit trees, Casa Carmín offers a relaxing escape just minutes from waterfalls and hiking trails in El Yunque National Rainforest and a short drive from beautiful local beaches.
Solar power & battery backup
The home is equipped with solar panels and a battery backup system. During daylight hours, the home uses power produced by the solar panels when solar energy is available. The battery system also provides backup power for essential household needs during electrical outages. Because backup capacity is limited, some high-energy appliances, including air conditioning, may not be available while the home is operating on battery power.

Nice little house in a very pretty area, great location for visiting El Yunque. It fit 5 of us without any issues. Bathrooms have had some recent updates which was nice, and everything was clean and ready for us. Lots of lizards and geckos near the house which my kids loved watching (probably boring for locals and maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but if you don't like lizards then this whole area may not be for you!). Roberto's recommended local spot for breakfast pastries and things was great, as was his communication overall.Our only complaint was that some of the house smelled musty - obviously it's a damp climate, but a solid cleaning of things like kitchen cupboards and furniture cushions would probably help a lot. Otherwise it was a nice stopover location for us!

We LOVED Roberto's beautiful home. Very clean, easy to find with his directions. The best part of all, was the kindness and responsiveness from Roberto & his family whenever we had a question come up. It was so incredibly wonderful seeing how much care they have for the guests. We would love to come again for sure! Thank you so much for everything Roberto and family:)
