The apartment is exactly as described. It was perfect for me. I will add that it might not be suitable for everyone. There are about 130 steps to reach the apartment. I live in a 5th floor, walkup apartment in New York City, so it didn't bother me. I made a game of it and timed myself to try to beat my record every time. But to be clear, I tried to only come back once a day!
If a shared toilet bothers you, this place is not for you. But the toilet was clean and I never saw anyone use it except for me.
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable enough. Wifi was reliable. It was cold in Paris but when I turned on the heat, it was toasty and cozy. It was very quiet for the most part. One night people came in late, probably after the clubs closed and they talked loudly enough for me to hear everything they said, but it didn't last longer than a few minutes.
There are too many lights! It would be nice to have lights on but not be so bright, but that is very minor.

Very good location, close to everything, clean and practical. The toilet were separated but it was not a problem because they were very clise and clean.
I recommend a lot.
