I loved the whole experience: the host was great and spoke English perfectly, the accomodation far exceeded my expectations and the included tea ceremony was really interesting. I always say that it's best to spend the night in Miyajima and Sion Hotel makes staying in the island super comfortable.

The property is spectacular! If you have an eye for detail and aesthetics, this place is definitely for you! Masa is a wonderful host: so kind and generous! The cedar bath was most enjoyable after a day of walking around Hiroshima. Thank you once again, Masa, for being such a wonderful host!

The craftsmanship in the hotel was stunning and Masa’s hospitality was beyond expectations. Every detail in the home felt intentional we loved the personal tour from Masa who designed and renovated the space. All the amenities were luxurious. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. We could see the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that was put into the entire stay experience. We feel lucky to have experienced Sion Hotel.
