I stayed here for a few nights while traveling around Siquijor on my own, and it turned out to be a great choice. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the private bathroom was very clean and shower had strong water pressure, which was much appreciated after a day on the motorbike.
The location has a unique charm. Banana Bar is surrounded by banana trees with growing bananas .It feels like you're experiencing the real rural Philippines instead of a busy tourist area. There's plenty of parking, and renting a motorbike directly from the property made getting around the island very easy. They also offer laundry service, which was a big help during my trip.
The owners were genuinely kind and welcoming, always happy to answer questions or help with anything I needed.
In the evenings, the bar has a friendly atmosphere where people enjoy a game of billiards and having a few drinks.
I'd definitely recommend staying here . It offers great value, a relaxing setting, and warm hospitality.

I had a really peaceful and comfortable stay here. The room was spotless, the mattress was very comfortable, and it was nice and quiet at night, so I slept really well. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower had excellent water pressure with reliable hot water.
There is convenient parking outside, motorbikes are available for rent, and free drinking water is provided in the shared kitchen, which was a nice bonus.
In the evenings, Banana Bar comes alive with a friendly mix of locals and travelers enjoying billiards, mini golf, and even fun arm wrestling challenges. Despite the lively atmosphere outside, my room stayed quiet, making it easy to get a great night's sleep.
Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay in Siquijor. Friendly atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and great facilities. I'll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit!

As a digital nomad, having a place with fast and reliable internet is essential, and Banana Bar guest room was exactly what I needed. The Starlink connection was consistently fast and stable, and with the solar backup system and generator, I never had to worry about power outages interrupting my work.
The room was spotless, and the air conditioning kept it cool and comfortable even during the hottest day. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to stay focused while still enjoying a relaxing atmosphere.
I also enjoyed working from the outdoor seating areas with a coffee, and the shared kitchen was convenient for making smoothies and shakes. Having a local restaurant just outside the property made grabbing lunch quick and easy.
If you're a remote worker or digital nomad visiting Siquijor, I highly recommend Banana Bar guest rooms. It's a quiet, comfortable place with dependable internet and uninterrupted power everything you need for a productive stay.

Location is good if you have a scooter, peaceful at night. Bed was comfortable, and there is billiard/mini golf area for people who like to play, also scooter rental was easy and fair.
We were without water, electricity and internet 70% of our 2 day stay and we still paid full price. I understand it was a problem for the whole island, but then you can't charge people the same price as usual, it should be 50% off or at least some refund because you are not providing them what they paid for, even when it's not your fault but mother natures.
