Our host was absolutely exceptional and incredibly kind — honestly, the best host we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome and well taken care of.
The accommodation itself is amazing: beautiful, cosy, comfortable, and equipped with absolutely everything you could need. We immediately felt at home.
The breakfast was excellent, and we also asked for a romantic dinner, which was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.
Our host even lent us bicycles so we could explore Sigiriya, which was such a lovely touch. There is also Bird Rock just a 2–3 minute walk away, where we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset in complete peace and privacy.
To sum it up: an exceptional host and an exceptional place. We would highly recommend staying here and would absolutely come back!

The isolation, the privacy, how well thought about the comfort of the guests.
The owner had though of the tiniest of details (like including mosquito repellent, torch etc) to eliminate any potential inconveniences.

This is my favourite hostel during my whole trip in Sri Lanka! The host is incredibly kind and thoughtful. He even prepared delicious dinner for me very late at night, which was such a nice surprise.
The room is well‑equipped with hot‑water shower, dressing table and mosquito repellent. Service is really attentive. There is a lovely restaurant and relaxing hammocks right at the entrance, such a beautiful spot to unwind. Highly recommend for every traveller!

Location, surrounded by onion, guava, tomato and pepper farms, view of the Sigiriya rock, nearby lakes with abundant of bird life, hospitality of the host and breakfast
