Het is ons meest bijzondere tijd in India, de locatie is zo mooi, wat een uitzicht en wat een lieve mensen. De opzichter van het hotel is super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam, lieve man. Tegenover de homestay is een klein simpel eettentje maar wat een voortreffelijk eten kan hij maken, de lekkerste in India. Ook voor de westerse buik goed. En met zoveel zorg en liefde klaargemaakt. Elke dag ontbijt lunch en avondeten door hem verzorgd. En hij heeft zo’n leuke hond, die echt uit de bergen komt. In de avond kampvuurtjes waar je echt met elkaar de warmte zoekt en kletst. Het is het echte dagelijkse bergleven met lokale mensen wat je ervaart. We vonden het een van onze dierbaarste momenten. Ook de beklimming in de nacht naar de kartik swami Murugan tempel door de bossen naar de top van 3050m is zo mooi met zonsopgang, waar het zonlicht de Himalaya goud kleurt. Echt top om hier te verblijven. Het is er wel koud dus neem wat warme kleding mee ook om in te slapen. Ik had een kruikje mee die ik vulde met kokend water. Maar goed geslapen. Je moet geen luxe verwachten maar alles is er. En erg vriendelijke lieve mensen. We werden ook spontaan uitgenodigd bij mensen om chai te komen drinken in de vallei, met Google translate konden we echt even kletsen. Een hele mooie ervaring, een aanrader.
