I spent 5 days with Anna and Orion (I initially booked just one night through Booking.com and ended up extending my stay directly with them).
Since it was the low season, I was the only guest at the hostel.
The private tent is super spacious, with enough room to stand up inside and spread all my belongings around. I had the best nights of sleep of my entire time in Thailand! Being outdoors, the tent stays cool at night, so I hardly needed to use the fan. There is also lighting and electricity inside. The bathroom was always clean and Anna’s cooking is simply the best!
With all the rain and no other guests around, I had the chance to get to know them on a deeper level, without any rush. We shared food and music, and Anna showed me around part of the island and her property.
I was welcomed as part of the family and cared for like a granddaughter in the smallest details. Anna would teach me things and offer me little treats to try, open fresh coconuts for me, rescue my clothes from the rain, ask me how I had slept, and even give me rides whenever I needed them.
Anna and her grandson are the kind of people who radiate peace and love. Ko Yao Noi the most beautiful island I’ve visited in Thailand, will always be even more beautiful to me because of them.
If life allows me to, I will return.
Oh, and their cats are an absolute delight in their own right! ❤️

absolutely incredible can not reccomend this place enough, the site is well looked after and cared for, high levels of cleanliness, the hosts are soo kind and warming and welcoming the breakfast was also so delicious, thank you so much cannot thank you enough
