We were allowed to check in about 3 hours earlier than the standard time, which we appreciated.
The apartment is very quiet – no noise from traffic, bars, or the street.
Located in the historic center in a beautiful area of the city.
The interior photos match reality. The apartment looked modern and there was no mold or unpleasant smell.
When we arrived, the boiler was not working, so there was no heating or hot water even though it was cold outside. The instructions provided were not helpful. After we contacted support, a representative came within an hour and turned the boiler on.
However, later that night the boiler shut down again and we woke up in a very cold apartment with no hot water. We later discovered that the pressure regulation valve in the boiler appears to be faulty and constantly increases pressure until the emergency valve triggers, which shuts the system down. This meant we had to keep monitoring it ourselves.
Another major issue appeared when the kitchen plumbing started leaking under the sink and flooded the floor. We had to clean the water ourselves and contact support again. On Wednesday a representative came, shut off the water in the kitchen, and promised that a plumber would come the same day or the next day. Unfortunately, no one came before our departure on Saturday.
As a result we had to wash dishes in the bathroom, sleep without heating when the outside temperature was around +5°C, and we could not freely explore the city because we were waiting for the plumber who never arrived. We were also concerned about the safety of the gas boiler and possible flooding in the apartment.
There were also several smaller issues:
The balcony view is only nice from a certain angle; otherwise you see an abandoned building and construction structures.
The bathroom drain was almost completely clogged, making showers difficult.
The shower had no shelves, so toiletries had to be placed on the floor.
The kitchen only had two bowls – we had to buy plates ourselves.
The Wi-Fi connection was unstable.
Some electrical outlets were loose.
The toilet seat was dirty when we arrived.
The mattress squeaked.
Electricity was cut twice during our stay (20–30 minutes each time).
