Incredibly beautiful accommodation in a pristine location, surrounded by surreal nature.
The bungalow looks over the rice-terraces, which are breath-taking at every hour of the day. In the morning, if it is not too cloudy, it is even possible to see the peak of Rinjani.
Our host (and his wonderful family) was really nice, gave us a tour of the farms, explained all sorts of local fruits and vegetables to us and even introduced us to many locals.
On our first day we had a cooking class with our hosts, where we prepared, learned to cook and enjoyed some delicious Indonesian food. The following day we were taken on a full-day trip around Tetebatu visiting all sorts of beautiful sites (the monkey forest, waterfalls, more rice-terraces…) and experiencing more local culture.
This stay was the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed the views and the whole experience from the first moment we arrived. Would love to come back again!

- wundervolle Lage inmitten von Reisfeldern
- die Bungalows sind groß und sehr neu
- super leckeres Essen immer frisch vor Ort gekocht
- beim Frühstück unbedingt die Bananen Pancakes probieren!
Übertroffen wurde dies noch von den herzlichen und lustigen Betreibern Hassan, Wira und Edy (sowie Familie)! Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt und hatten viel Spaß zusammen! Die gemeinsamen Touren durch die umliegende Region Tetebatu waren super! Nochmals vielen Dank für alles :)
- es könnte etwas sauberer sein (der Zahnputzbecher war sehr dreckig)
- die Handtücher haben extrem gefusselt
- wir haben leider auch bei einem Gast-Wechsel im Bungalow nebenan beobachtet, dass die Bettwäsche nicht komplett gewechselt/gewaschen wurde…

Wow! Just Wow! If you get the chance, you've GOT to stay here! This was our favourite (or maybe equal favourite with one other awesome stay elsewhere) accommodation in our whole trip! We stayed for 2 nights as that was all that was available, but we would have stayed much longer if it wasn't booked full already! Raga, Agis and Edi were such great hosts. Soooo friendly and went out of their way to made us feel right at home. Raga and Agis took us on this awesome walk through the jungle where we saw rare black monkeys and 4 lovely waterfalls. The knew we liked tropical fruits so they found all the delicious ones for us to try in the village. We had the best day and really enjoyed chatting and connecting with Raga and Agis at a deeper level than just surface chit chat that would be expected. They are wonderful humans and we would love to see them again in the future. (tip- if they ask you if you're up for a longer walk... say yes!)
I haven't even gotten to the room yet... the view is next level amazing!! There's basically a wall of glass that looks right out onto a super close, paddyfield covered hill. You can watch people working in the fields from your bed as if the window is some sort of giant screen with a documentary playing on it. We LOVED it!! The room was also very nice, new, large and clean. There was a large shower with hot water and everything was lovely. The food was also tasty (thanks Edi!)
The area isn't touristy at all which we loved. Tetebatu is lovely too and only 20 minutes away, but if you stay at Rinjani Vibe you get a more authentic local experience. That said, cover up (shoulders and knees, etc. for women) and be respectful in the village. You will be warmly welcomed if you do.
We hope to stay there again one day!

Traumhafter Ausblick aus dem Bungalow auf die Reisfelder. Unbedingt einmal zum Sonnenaufgang über den Feldern aufstehen! Das gesamte Team ist sehr herzlich und bemüht sich, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Eddy kocht unglaublich lecker, also ist es überhaupt kein Problem, dass in unmittelbarer Umgebung keine Restaurants sind.
