Good vibe at common area for solo traveler and backpacker, clean environment, friendly and helpful staff.
Most important it located at the strategic location which surrounding with good foodie and tourist spot, it very near to public transport hub as well. Thumbs up!

We were rather concerned when we arrived and the hostel was in the middle of Petaling Street Market but remarkably we heard no noise from it at all. Our private ensuite room was minimalist but spotlessly clean. The aircon worked well and the room was equipped with a kettle, water, coffee, a hairdryer and two pairs of disposable slippers.our shower worked perfectly. In the communal/community area, there was a board with events listed. There was a karaoke night the evening we arrived. There is also a fabulous coffee shop, a selection of board games and a book exchange. The communal space also boasts a large table, inside seating and an outside seating area, along with a water refill station and microwave. On the top floor, there is a roof terrace with amazing views of Mederka 118. As a much older couple, we didn't feel out of place at Traveller Ark and would not hesitate to stay there again when in KL.
