Enjoyed our stay and tried to ignore the downsides of the property. It seemed overpriced for its condition.

Ideal location for Ridgeway path and both villages for pubs / dining out. Lounge / dining area cosy and suitable for 4 people, kitchen acceptable.

The interior woodwork is tatty and needs painting, carpets need a good clean or be replaced and upstairs (small) shower room should be upgraded.

Overpaid for an unloved, soulless and tatty old property.

It was well located to walk to the river.

Unfortunately, the property was very disappointing and looks quite different from the photos advertised. It feels extremely tired and is in desperate need of new carpets and complete redecoration. The carpets are old, the paintwork is discoloured in places, and there was an unpleasant odour throughout. One particularly strange feature is a locked interconnecting door in the living room leading to the neighbouring property. Unfortunately, the neighbours were playing a guitar until well after 23:00, and the noise was so loud it sounded as though they were in our own living room! Given the condition of the property and the noise, it felt extremely expensive for what it actually offers. The photographs certainly give a much better impression than the reality. A couple of other things worth mentioning: parking is on the street rather than private, which isn't a disaster but is worth knowing. Also, don't waste your time looking for a sign saying "Kingswood Cottage" – there isn't one! The building is actually signed "Icknield Cottages", which makes finding it unnecessarily confusing. Overall, a disappointing stay. With some investment and attention to detail, this could be a lovely property, but in its current condition, it simply doesn't justify the price.

Cute, warm, comfy cottage & annexe. Easy to park right outside

Bathroom in main cottage is very compact. Toilet needs a good clean & a new toilet seat. No drink facilities in annexe. Would be good to have a glass/cup & coffee machine or kettle

Location was great for restaurants and pubs, loved the on site annex, ideal

On street car parking was not ideal , set on a busy road... however never experienced any problems parking in front of the property
