Nightmare experience and I will never use booking.com again. Photos show misrepresented listing that saints there is air

It looked nice

Owner completely misrepresented the property. The air conditioning in the bedroom did not work during the 106 degree heatwave. They knew about it because it was listed as broken on the Airbnb site, but not the booking site. Owner never once responded to my messages about the air conditioning being broken, nor that I left the property immediately, and declined my cancellation request. I had to pay for a second set of accommodations that were safe to sleep in. I’m fighting with booking to get a refund. Completely ruined my trip to Paris.

A truly regrettable nightmare of a stay that ruined our vacation.

Unfortunately, after the experience we had, there was nothing positive to highlight about this stay. The situation with the property significantly disrupted and ultimately ruined our vacation. This matter caused considerable stress throughout our trip, and given the overall experience, I cannot recommend this stay. It was truly a regrettable and extremely disappointing experience. Don't make the same mistake as us.

The apartment was not as described. We booked this property because it advertised air conditioning, but unfortunately the AC was not working when we arrived, making the bedroom extremely hot and uncomfortable. It happened to be very hot and sunny in Paris during our stay. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, we were first asked to troubleshoot it ourselves over the phone. We recognized the unit was broken and grew frustrated. We were offered the opportunity to move to a neighbouring unit temporarily while waiting for a technician to come and fix the unit. Although this meant we had to pack again and go down the multiple flights of narrow staircase to get to the other unit, we accepted temporary fix because we would be able to sleep and would go back eventually to the original unit with working AC unit. Two nights later, at around 12:25 AM, we were told we would need to vacate by 10 AM even though the AC still had not been repaired. We were offered fans instead, which for us, is not an acceptable replacement for advertised air conditioning. Because of the issue not being resolved and the extremely inconsiderate notice at 12:25 AM, we asked for a refund/cancellation and decided to book an alternative accommodation (Hotel) at 1:00 AM at our own expense. On another note, The bed wasn't as advertised; it was a mattress on the floor with a headboard rather than a proper bed. Because of this experience, we will never again stay at a private accommodation. Sometimes we think these nightmare experiences won't happen to us, until they do. Moving forward we will stick with hotels and my advice to friends and family, even folks reading reviews online will be the same. Don't make the same mistake we did. You work hard to go on vacations - don't book this stay.

De locatie was fantastisch, alles op loopafstand te bereiken

Wat ons tegenviel was het moeilijke te bereiken appartement op de 3 etage via een vrij stijle , smalle trap. Wij verbleven 5 dagen en hadden dus een koffer van20 kg. Dit was dus zwaar om zowel naar boven als naar beneden te brengen . 1 rol toilet papier is Zeer pover naar mijn idee , Epen ik zou de schuurspons je per ve4blijf vernieuwen daar zo’n oud spons je toont armoedig

Ce ne fut pas une contrainte mais il faut savoir que l’appartement est situé au 2e étage sans ascenseur et que l’on y accède par un escalier tres étroit. Cela peut être compliqué avec des bagages volumineux.
