Enjoyable

It is in a very quiet area with a short drive to Scarborough and the nearest public house for food. The only thing not disclosed when booking this property is that you must pay £20 a day for your dog and this is to be left in cash I feel this should be pointed out at the start of the booking.

Nothing it has everything you need facility wise and nice and quiet area.

lovely house, very secure, would recommend staying here

no washing line.the induction hob only had two rings but there was an aga if you wanted to use it. double bed was a bit small.

Disappointing Christmas break.

It looked nice from the outside but wasn't in Scarborough as shown on the map in the booking app. I didn't go inside as wanted to be by the sea and it wasn't. Phone numbers for owners either ring out with a foreign ringtone or number not recognised. Customer service from booking .com is a phone number calling from Hong Kong. I booked alternative accommodation in Scarborough where we wanted to be. Didn't go inside the house at all as wasn't going to stay there. Messages from the property owners unhelpful and unapologetic. I want my money back.

I was expecting to be near the sea, near restaurants, in Scarborough Town centre as it was shown when booking. In reality the house is on a side street off of a main road. No shops, no pub, no restaurants, nowhere to walk unless along a busy road with no pavement or through a housing estate with work vans parked up. A 20 min drive into Scarborough to get where we wanted to be in the first place. The listing stated a 13 min walk to the beach. Close proximity to restaurants and shops, the theatre and town centre. All completely wrong. Information based on another holiday let with the same name in Scarborough Town. After looking forward to a Christmas break with our family, we had to find alternative accommodation in town at further cost to ourselves in a busy town so choice was really limited.
