About this house rental
A cozy nest for two, attached to the owners' house, in the heart of the village of Rabastens. Its colors, its typical and lively alleyways, its market, and its historic buildings make Rabastens an unmissable stop. Upon arrival, you'll be struck by the ubiquitous brick, characteristic of Rabastens' aesthetic. You'll quickly find yourself exploring the village, discovering the Church of Notre-Dame du Bourg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (a remarkable monument on the Way of St. James), its magnificent frescoes from the 13th to the 15th centuries, the ramparts, and the Musée du Pays Rabastinois (Rabastens Country Museum). The charm and gentle pace of life in the Tarn region will work their magic. Now you can relax on the banks of the Tarn River, and the surrounding area of Rabastens will beckon you. From the village, six marked hiking trails lead into the verdant countryside where dovecotes, chapels, and small hamlets surrounded by fields, vineyards, and orchards reveal themselves as you walk. You'll also discover a lovely lake, very popular with walkers. Attached to the owners' house, this independent cottage is set in a large, wooded, and shaded garden. On the ground floor, you'll find a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, a shower room, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, on the mezzanine, is a double bed (140x190 cm). Outside, a semi-covered terrace provides a peaceful setting for al fresco dining. The swimming pool is shared with the owners (and is closed for cleaning between 12 pm and 2 pm). You can park your vehicle in the shade of the trees within the property, which is enclosed by a secure gate. For your comfort: reversible air conditioning (heat pump), TV, Wi-Fi (code available upon request from the owners). The bed will be made upon your arrival, towels and linens are provided, and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Just a stone's throw from the historic center of Rabastens, enjoy a cozy retreat with a terrace, swimming pool and shaded garden, nestled between UNESCO heritage sites and the Tarn countryside.
