Het appartement overtrof onze verwachtingen. Meestal denk je dat de foto's zijn bijgewerkt, maar dat is hier absoluut niet zo. Alles ziet er echt uit als op de foto's. Het binnenkomen in het gebouw ging heel makkelijk. We hadden een telefoonnummer toegestuurd gekregen om te bellen zodat de voordeur van het gebouw open ging en dat werkte perfect. Daarna moesten we met een code een brievenbuskastje openen. Dat ging een beetje moeilijk. Het kastje zit laag en de cijfers zijn niet goed te zien. Maar het is gelukt. In het kastje zit een kluisje die makkelijk te openen is en daar zitten de sleutels en een token in. De token is voor de entree tot het gebouw. De sleutels voor de deuren naar het appartement. Het trappenhuis is heel schoon en ruim. Toen we het appartement binnen kwamen waren we helemaal enthousiast. Wat een geweldig mooi appartement. Erg veel licht. Mooie meubels. Erg schoon. Mooie ruime keuken. Alle faciliteiten zoals beschreven en meer zelfs tot in de kleinste details zoals bijvoorbeeld cocktailprikkers en een aansteker voor de kaarsjes. De slaapkamer is ruim, licht en kunnen verduisterd worden met rolluiken. Er zijn extra kussens (hard en zacht) en extra beddengoed. De douche is ruim en schoon. Er is aan alles gedacht zoals gordijnen voor open opbergkasten. Het uitzicht is op de kathedraal die ook maar op een paar minuten lopen verwijderd is (350 m.). Tussen het appartement en de kathedraal vind je een Carrefour supermarkt (120 m.) en een ruime ondergrondse parking St. Leu Cathedrale op 200 meter. Kosten parking € 13,- per 24 uur. Ook op 300 meter lopen is de Quai Belu met allerlei horecagelegenheden langs de kade van de Somme. Als we ooit nog eens terug komen in Amiens zullen we absoluut proberen om dit appartement opnieuw te huren. Het is een supermooi appartement op een top locatie.

Eigenlijk alles.
Lichte, ruime lokatie op de tweede etage met uitzicht op de stad.
Het enige was dat de mensen die in de straat voorbij kwamen wel luid waren (vooral ‘s-nachts) met het converseren met elkaar of via de mobiel😏
Ik kan niets bedenken.

Location of the apartment is fantastic. Very central and very safe area, close to all of the city but a nice quiet location. The apartment is spacious and airy and the beds and sofa are very comfortable. There is plenty of space and it is immaculately clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom/shower excellent. If you have a car there's a underground car park 1 min drive away a good place to park - reasonable rates for secure parking in the centre of town
For us being over 70 years old we are not up to date with Apps and it was a big challenge for us to actually get through the outer door, (a kind young man helped us) once in we managed the locker and key box, but either did not know or see any instruction as to exactly where the apartment was in the block. Eventually we worked it out and once in the apartment forgot all our stress. Also note if you are not super fit that there are two flights of stairs if carrying heavy luggage

The apartment is very nice. Clean and well stocked. close to the cathedral
Getting into the place was ridiculous. The hosts sent a link to collect a deposit with a third party that was more than advertised on Booking.com, which was supposed to be in cash, thus face-to-face. Then told me they sent a link I never received, then you needed a working phone to get into the building (we are travelling from North America) - we had to get another tenant to let us into the building - thus security is not great. Dog faeces all over the courtyard you had to walk through to get to the building. Not a safe area at night. Someone walked on our car. Get an apartment, but the location for safety and for hosts actually getting you in the apartment.
