Responsive and helpful host. House is cozy, beautifully decorated and spotless. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils and quality appliances, the toys kept our toddler happy. Coffee machine is a great amenity to have. Location is about 8 mins from Taupo's city center, Woolworths and some local food options are just 2 mins away. Beautiful fireplace.
The fireplace was difficult to turn on/off - had to message the host and took couple of gos with the remote every time. Coffee supply - with 4 adults staying for 2 nights, we did not have enough coffee beans for everyone to have 1 cup of coffee per day. Having a little bit more would be a great convenience for coffee drinkers.

Loved staying at this property. The decor is so relaxing. Rooms are not huge but have hangers and decent space for bags. The lounge is huge, and large tv is great for a night of movies. Very clean. Location is short drive to town. Supermarket is very handy. You can see the lake from the kitchen and front deck. Plenty of outdoor spaces. I'm already planning to go back.
Would be good if there were mirrors in all rooms. Second bathroom is a laundry with shower and toilet. The basin is a laundry basin, not a bathroom vanity. Still handy having this though. This house is still a 10.
