Het hotel is erg netjes en schoon en het appartement op de bovenste etage is erg ruim opgezet. We waren de enige in het hotel, omdat het seizoen nog niet begonnen was, maar dat was absoluut niet te merken aan het personeel! Er lopen pauwen door de tuin heen! Het zwembad was niet heel groot, maar prima om in af te koelen. En het strand is op loopafstand. We vonden Negombo zelf niet zo heel leuk, de straat langs het strand heeft daarentegen hele leuke restaurantjes en barretjes.
