Location, the Hotel is on the main drag (Avenida Joaquim Soeiro de Carvalho) and one block east is “Avenida Beira Rio” where all the river front restaurants are located. Only a 5 minute walk away - the river front is also where the boat transports to Atins leaves from. Bengó Acai place right next door. Spacious triple room. Bathroom in excellent condition. The top floor breakfast room and patio opens at 7am. Doors to Breakfast room are locket before 7am. My Wife (Portuguese speaker) talked with Front desk person the night before and the hotel staff arranged for the door to be unlocked for us so we could photograph the sunrise. Tapioca was excellent and very customizable by accommodating breakfast staff. Happened to stay at hotel on September 7 and was able to watch Brazil Independence Day parade from Hotel room balcony. WiFI Internet was very good.
The hotel is a bit pricey but I really only have one minor complaint. The triple room I booked was priced for 3 people. Only one of the beds had a thin blanket, the other two beds, only sheets. When my wife asked the front desk for another blanket for the other bed in use, the staff member said we would be charged R$ 15 for the blanket. This is only $3 dollars US, but it’s the principle, that I should get a blanket for each bed in the room. I didn’t even check if they charged us for the blanket as it was not worth my vacation time stressing about R$15. I would have have thought for the price paid each bed would get a blanket. Also note there is a huge sand dune that obstructs the river view unless you are on the 3rd floor or on the top floor breakfast area. Other than the blanket issue, the stay was outstanding. If your budget can afford I recommend staying here.

Na entrada vc aó consegue entrar interfonando ou com. Cartão, podia ter algum código caso vc chegue muito cedo e ainda não tiver ninguém na recepção
