After seeing bad reviews I was sceptical about going there. It wasn't that bad considering the small amount paid. Bathroom was clean, the room was fairly clean.
The downstairs kitchen and seating area were full of laundry. Fridge freezer was leaking, the whole area wasn't so clean. The bedroom could do with a fair bit of work, plastering and decorating. When I first opened the bathroom door, I was hit by the smell of weed, it was coming through the wall, possibly from the other room or building next door. Person in the other room was a bit noisy, letting the door slam each time going in or out. Would I stay there again, definitely not. Home of relaxations this isn't!

It was cheap and conveniently located (5min walk from station.) Kitchen facilities if required. Shower in en-suite was decent (sounds like a low bar, but a good shower is important!) Fast WiFi internet.
Quite unpleasant smell on entering common area (though bedroom/en-suite were perfectly fine!) No curtains over bedroom window - just what looked like a bedsheet hung (no doubt to hide the view out the rear!) No towel in en-suite (at least there was toilet roll and soap!)
