This place is genuinely one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, we knew this wasn't just another holiday accommodation. The location is absolutely outstanding, offering peace, tranquillity, and a chance to completely switch off from the hustle and bustle of town and city life.
The property itself is full of character and charm. We went there as a family and friends, we all loved it, including the two young children. In fact, we’re already talking about a second visit because we feel like we only scratched the surface of what this wonderful location has to offer!
Everything from top to bottom was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The living room was warm, cosy, the kitchen was huge and became the heart of our stay, a fantastic space for everyone to gather, chat, cook, and spend quality time together. It was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. Outside, the garden was more natural, parking was plentiful and completely hassle-free.
One thing future guests should know: the photos really don't do this place justice. It's significantly more beautiful in person, with a warmth and atmosphere that simply can't be captured in pictures.
A couple of light-hearted observations:
😂 The What3Words location seemed determined to introduce us to a few of the neighbouring houses before finally revealing the correct one.
😂 The bathrooms are absolutely enormous, luxurious, and wonderful... but they don't have locks. So if you have children who enjoy sprinting around the house at full speed, you may need to develop some creative door-guarding techniques to avoid any surprise visits!

The only small area for improvement would be continued attention to clearing the occasional cobweb and keeping insects and spiders to a minimum. That said, it didn't impact our stay at all, and with two small children we simply took the normal precautions you would expect in such a beautiful natural setting.
