The First Clark Hotel and Residence

A lovely brand new hotel. The rooms are large with all the usual amenities plus the added bonus of a kitchenette. This comprises an electric hob, a washing machine, a sink, a large fridge plus crockery/cutlery + pans. There's a kettle/ mugs but no coffee machine. Bring your own tea/coffee. The staff are charming and the service is excellent - the daily room team are brilliant as well. I should add the hotel gym is excellent - as good as anything you might belong to at home.

This hotel is slightly isolated from town and there are no pavements. So to get anywhere it's by cab. Breakfast can be an issue - the Korean restaurant offers a Korean offering or a limited 'American' option. For more choice you'll need to take a cab. There is a Japanese restaurant as well and I expect you can get a traditional breakfast from here . There's a coffee bar here where you can get a few things. I stayed here mainly as I was visiting a patient in the Medical City Clark hospital which is less than 10 minutes' walk away. Again there isn't pavement access - weirdly as this is a new estate under construction - but currently a few roads are closed permitting safe pedestrian access - for now at least!

The breakfast could improve. Should offer also Western options, not only for Korean clients.

The room is immaculately clean. The construction finish is exceptional. The appliances are technologically modern and superior. The view from the window is superb.

Instructions on appliances and water closet could be in English or Pilipino

The property is brand new. Very comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Smart toilet. Very good Korean restaurant. As I had to delay my arrival by one day, they changed my reservation to the following day without asking for any additional money (although they had already charged my card).
