The instructions were very clear, and having a keypad vs. a key or card was helpful. It was only me, but there were multiple comfortable beds available. If I were traveling with my family, as was the original plan, this would have been great. The table was already set, in case I used it. This wouldn't be a necessarily great location for being downtown if there wasn't a bus stop right across the street. The 2 and 2A lines take you directly downtown in minutes and it is super frequent and reliable. I always left the apartment and turned right to head downtown. But once I turned left there were a lovely amount of shops, restaurants (Pizza Express right across the street) and one of the best neighborhood groceries (M&S) that I've seen. So, really a great area afterall.
The shower soap wasn't working, but it wasn't a big deal at all. It could use a little bit of paint for an easy makeover, but really, it was just fine. It is above an Indian Food restaurant, and when you first get into the apartment, it smells like food (now, I have a super sensitive nose, and maybe most people wouldn't notice), but if I can immediately acclimate to it, anyone can.
