Wouldn't really recommend regardless of price, quite dirty.

Good location, easy to find and access.

Room smelt quite bad upon entry, and the pillow cases were dirty (we had to cover them with towels to sleep on). The bathroom was left dirty by other guests which was quite unpleasant.

Bad!

Our experience at Private rooms near Kings Cross and Camden was unfortunately unsafe and uninhabitable. We arrived on 24 July and had to leave the same evening because the rooms had no ventilation and the air was extremely heavy and stagnant. Even the staircase area felt suffocating, with no fresh air anywhere on the floor. We were four people (two adults and two children), and all of us developed strong headaches; one child also felt nauseous. The property later said they “could have helped open the windows,” but this would not have solved the problem — the air was thick and unmoving throughout the entire floor. Opening a window to a busy street would not have created airflow, and the noise made it impossible to keep it open, especially at night. The conditions were not just uncomfortable; they were unsafe. In an emergency, such as a fire, the windows were not practical for escape, and the lack of ventilation made the environment genuinely dangerous. We had to book new accommodation the same night because staying there was impossible. I cannot recommend this property based on our experience.

Ideal value-for-money property for a short stay

Location ideal for me son was in the hospital, and I had needed somewhere to stay overnight it was literally 200 metres away. The bed was comfortable. Hairdryer a nice touch. Ideal for a short stay. Ear plugs provided, had no issues with outside noise. The room was clean. Little fan provided which is great in this hot weather.

The front door glass panel was smashed, which made me wonder whether there was trouble in the area. The bedding was quite creased, giving the bed an already slept-in feel. Had no issues with outdoor noise, but there was a lot of headboard banging and noise coming from the room next door to me, and they banged their doors when they came out of their room, so they kept waking me up. So I just stayed in my room; however, the earplugs were handy.

Suihkun viemäri veti todella huonosti. Jatkuvasti jalat ui likavedessä ja vesi imeytyi erittäin hitaasti. Emme kyllä pyytäneet, mutta olisi ollut mukavaa jos lakanat ja pyyhkeet oltaisiin vaihdettu vierailumme aikana.
