Chill on the Hill ... le nom illustre parfaitement ce lieu 'roots' perché tout en haut de Zicack (collé à Portsmouth), idéal pour chiller au calme en admirant la mer en préparant sa prochaine sortie, ou au retour.
Ce lieu et ses propriétaires, David et son père, sont tout à fait en ligne avec ce que l'on imaginait de la Dominique : accueillants, cool et sympa.
Un étage ouvert aux quatre vents abrite les 5 chambres et la cuisine commune, ainsi qu'un grand balcon-terrasse.
Possibilité de prendre de très bons petits dej et dîners, typiques et maison et (bien meilleurs que ce que l'on peut trouver dans les gargotes du coin).
Question localisation, c'est le camp de base idéal pour visiter le nord de l'île.
Nous, cela ne nous a pas gêné, mais il n'y a pas l'eau chaude dans toutes les chambres.
Des rideaux opaques ne seraient pas de trop pour ne pas être gênés par le soleil tôt le matin.

Vi blev mycket väl omhändertagna av värdarna David och hans pappa Albert. Från start fick de oss att känna oss som hemma med sin genuina glädje att dela med sig av denna vackra plats uppe på höjden strax utanför Portsmouth. Vi uppskattade verkligen naturen, lugnet och den goda maten som de serverade. David är hjälpsam med att bistå med tips och rekommendationer på platser att utforska på Dominica och erbjuder även guidade turer. Boendet är enkelt men har allt man behöver och det är en fantastisk plats att träffa andra resenärer och utbyta erfarenheter. Det finns flera häftiga platser att utforska i närheten. Vi rekommenderar starkt och kommer gärna tillbaka!
