This is one of the few truly authentic agricultural community experiences one can have in Italy. It is not an agriturismo in the traditional sense. The loft is situated above a beautiful building where a small group of dedicated people run an organic farm and a small home school for children from the local community. The farm is surrounded by a small wooded area through which the Mis stream flows, and it faces the magnificent mountains of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. Throughout all my years of travelling in Italy, I have rarely stayed somewhere that was so wonderful not only because of its location, but also because of the incredible community that welcomes you with such warmth and open hearts. I only wish there were more places like this one.
