We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, tidy, and cosy cottage. Alicia was a lovely, friendly host, and nothing was ever a problem. The cottage had a charming feel with modern touches, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.
The location was fantastic—just five minutes from Burleigh Heads Beach, cafés, pubs, and shops. We also loved the small, fully fenced grassed yard, which was perfect for our dog. The property included plenty of thoughtful amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, washing detergent, tea, coffee, and extra beach towels.
The outdoor setting and small two-seater lounge area were lovely touches, creating a relaxing atmosphere and a really good overall vibe.
A few areas could be improved. The property’s location on a busy main road was a little nerve-wracking with a dog, particularly when coming and going. We also couldn’t find the switch for the outdoor light, and weren’t sure if it was sensor-operated as it didn’t appear to turn off.
A block-out curtain for the main front window would be helpful, as the afternoon sun creates glare on the TV and can shine directly into the room. A curtain or blind on the sliding door would also improve privacy and provide an added sense of security at night.

The house had a sunny and warm aspect, perfect winter stay. Was great for a short stay with our dog. Fenced yard areas and proximity to parks and walks
Short drive to the off leash dog beach. It was perfectly clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable
Sensor lights from the property and the duplex next door were quite bright and went off regularly.

Very convenient location and easy access to unit. Beautifully styled and practical – the outdoor area was lovely and we appreciated all the little special touches such as fresh milk, tea, coffee and there is a lovely selection of plants in and around the property as well. Highly recommend and would stay again.
