About this house rental
Welcome to Whitepark Cottage—a bright, fresh, family friendly and spacious retreat perfectly positioned for exploring the Antrim Coast. Whether you're a large family or a group of friends, you're just a stroll from Ballycastle's local bakeries, cosy pubs, and a short drive to the bustling seafront. Located only 20 minutes from the Giant's Causeway, we offer the perfect balance of coastal adventure and 'home-away-from-home' comfort.
The Property:
Our newly updated 3-bedroom home is designed for groups of up to 8.
Family-Ready: We love hosting families! To make your packing easier, we provide a travel cot, high chair, baby bath seat, and dedicated children’s plates, cups, and cutlery.
The Layout: A master King with en-suite shower, a cozy twin room, and a double room—all featuring fresh linens and a bright, airy feel. Two additional guests can use the sofa bed in the living room.
The Kitchen: Fully stocked for family feasts, featuring a modern Air Fryer, coffee station, and a large sunny dining area (can seat 8).
Outdoor Living: A front and back, fully enclosed garden —ideal for kids to play or dogs to roam safely.
Parking: Rare for this area, our private driveway easily fits 4 cars , making group travel stress-free.
Tech: Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Alexa device and wireless chargers throughout.
Guest Access:
The entire house and garden are yours to enjoy. We offer a seamless self-check-in experience via a secure lockbox, with the code sent to you the day before arrival. Arrive at your leisure and start your vacation immediately—no waiting for keys required! We aim to give early check in where available.
Interaction with guests:
As international teachers and experienced travellers, we value your privacy but are always 'virtually' available to answer questions. For your peace of mind, we also have a dedicated local house manager based right here in Ballycastle. They are available to assist in person should any urgent needs or emergencies arise during your stay. We've also prepared a comprehensive guidebook with all our favourite local gems to help you hit the ground running!

The Bathroom Setup: We have one full shower in the en-suite. The main family bathroom features a large bathtub with a handheld attachment—perfect for bathing the kids or a relaxing soak after a hike.
Pet Policy: We love dogs! We welcome well-behaved pups on the ground floor. We just ask that they stay off the furniture and stay downstairs to keep the bedrooms allergy-free for future guests.
Quiet Hours: Located in a peaceful cul-de-sac, our home is perfect for quiet relaxation; we kindly ask for respect for our neighbours after 10 PM.

We had a very nice time at Whitepark cottage. It is on the edge of the town, which worked for us as we were taking trips out along the coast.
Clodagh provided a very helpful bespoke booklet with lots of information about the area, shops, bars and restaurants etc.
The house itself is very comfortable and it was great to have a nice big kitchen. The lounges is also spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. The cooker / hob is a bit tired and could do with being replaced, the washing line was broken, and the quality of the cutlery was rather poor, but otherwise the facilities were good. These are minor things and did not seriously detract from our enjoyment of the property and our stay.

it was so good to be able to book just 2 nights - Clodagh was extremely helpful - sorry we slept in and missed putting out the very full grey bin in time for collection

Whitepark Cottage was perfect for us. We are a group of five, very diverse ages, personalities and needs and everyone was very happy. The kitchen is fully kitted out. My uncle even foun bran flakes and instant oatmeal in the pantry. In and out was quick and painless , and the hosts were lightening fast responsive with great useful info. I definitely recommend!

A nice cottage, very well equipped. The host was nice and accommodating, easy to communicate with. The problem was that the house was not cleaned up to the standards. Just a day before the check in the host announced that one of the bathrooms could not be used due to the plumbing problems. The only bathroom was not really cleaned. We had to clean it ourselves. The sofa in the living room was covered in dog’s hair, and so was the kitchen floors. The second floor bedrooms were much cleaner.
