The location of this apartment is fantastic. Being on the ground floor with direct beach access was incredibly convenient, and the position itself is hard to fault. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by a few issues. We were travelling with a 5-month-old and a 20-month-old, and the noise from the apartment above made it extremely difficult for everyone to sleep. From early morning through to approximately 10:30–11:00pm each night, there was constant stomping, running back and forth, furniture being dragged across the floor, and heavy footsteps. At times it genuinely sounded like elephants were upstairs. While I understand this is partly the nature of apartment living, the level of noise transfer was excessive and made what should have been a relaxing family getaway quite stressful. A more concerning issue was an electrical fault. In the rear study/vanity area, I switched off a lamp before bed and received a significant electric shock. This was not a minor static shock—it was a substantial zap that caused me to physically jump back. I strongly recommend the owners have this checked by a qualified electrician as soon as possible. The bedding was also quite basic compared to what we expected for a holiday apartment. The beds were made with a fitted sheet and top sheet only, rather than proper quilt covers and bedding, which felt a little dated and less comfortable than other accommodation we've stayed in.
