Large family home in a beautiful garden setting away from the road. Very peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very welcoming and helped with a safari and a driver for onward travel.
Lovely home cooked breakfast and we had dinner as well.
Fifteen minute drive to Udawalawa national park and the safari did not disappoint. We saw many different animals including spotted deer, mongoose, monkeys crocodiles buffalo and elephants

Lovely home stay near the Udawalawe National Park.ower was very helpful before and during the stay, arranging an afternoon safari for us before our arrival, and onward taxi to Ella for after our stay. The home stay is in a quiet area off the main road and takes 15 minutes to drive to the park. The dinner was fantastic and it was nice to stay in this family home. Would recommend the 3 hour safari, not sure you would need the extra 2 hours offered. Everything was perfect
