Too many rules and warnings around the house, felt we couldn't relax in the living room with a cup of tea.

We had a lovely stay at Santíago Retreat. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, modern and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The décor is lovely, the beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The location is lovely and peaceful, while still being within easy reach of Cardiff and the surrounding area. Everything was clean and well presented, and the host was friendly and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Santíago Retreat. It’s a lovely place for a relaxing getaway and somewhere we would happily return to.

The only thing that gave us a bit of a giggle was the number of warning signs around the property! 😂 My daughters arrived before me and their first reaction was that it looked a little like a crime scene! 😆 Once we got settled, though, we quickly realised they were simply there to make sure guests knew how to use everything and what to be mindful of.

House was lovely had all that we needed for weekend

Only thing in the single bedroom could of done with a small cupboard or shelves

It was new, fresh and clean

It was advertised as having a washing machine and a sauna however it had neither. The outside lights which lighted the whole house front and back like daylight were on a timer which never turned off during the night…super hard to get any sleep!
