Clean, spacious accommodation in a great location for cycling the Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo. Around 10 miles from Bormio, it’s an excellent base for a group of four if you don’t mind riding uphill to get back at the end of the day. Plenty of secure space for bikes and a large TV for relaxing after a ride.
The kitchen wasn’t particularly well equipped. Some pans didn’t work on the induction hob, essential utensils were missing, and some kitchenware was stored on top of very high cupboards where it was impossible to reach without a ladder. There was no information about the property, local area or recycling, and when the electricity tripped we had to find the consumer units ourselves, including one in a separate outbuilding. The shower temperature control was also inconsistent.
