We had a great stay overall and really enjoyed our time in Bakuriani.
The location of the hotel is excellent. One of the biggest advantages is that you can easily walk to both Crystal and Didveli ski lifts — it takes about 10-15 minutes on foot. This is very convenient, especially during the winter season.
The apartment itself is fantastic — very spacious, around 90 square meters. It’s large enough for two families or one big family. We were only three people, and it felt huge.
There are two large refrigerators (we used only one, and it was more than enough), a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, and a fully equipped kitchen. We mostly cooked on the stove, but everything you might need is there — plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware. You don’t need to bring anything with you.
The view from the window is beautiful — mountains and a small river nearby. Very peaceful atmosphere.
There is also a sauna inside the apartment, which is a big plus. It heats up to about 56°C maximum. For us, that was enough to relax and sweat for about 30 minutes, although some people might prefer higher temperatures.
The indoor temperature in winter was around 18°C, which is comfortable for us. There are additional heaters available if needed. Plenty of towels and clean bed linen were provided.
The living space is very comfortable: two large sofas, a big dining table, small coffee tables, two armchairs, and even a small desk where a child can do homework. There’s also a small TV and a balcony with a hanging egg chair — perfect for relaxing with tea, enjoying the cold air, and then going straight into the sauna.
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. The sauna and mountain view are definite highlights. The walking distance to the Crystal lifts is a big advantage. With slightly better cleaning, it would be perfect.
The only small downside is the steep uphill road leading to the property. If you don’t have an AWD/4WD vehicle, it can be difficult to drive up once the road freezes. In that case, you may need to leave the car at the bottom and walk about 150 meters uphill. It’s not a major discomfort, but something to keep in mind during winter.
The only real minus for us was that there was quite a lot of pet hair in the apartment. It seems previous guests may have stayed with an animal. We tried vacuuming, but the hair was still noticeable on sofas and beds. Since our family doesn’t have pets, this caused a bit of discomfort. It would be great if cleaning could be improved in this aspect.
