Great location, nice and rural but also easy to reach Keswick by car. The cottage had a farm shop outside with milk, eggs, meat. Cottage had everything we needed and was very homely! 😊
Nothing it was great and had everything we needed!! The only addition I could think of is another bed side table for the left hand side but not necessary 😊

Amazing location in the heart of the Lake District next to the main farmhouse on a small working farm. The cottage has everything you need… the kitchen is beautiful and has every kind of utensil or cooking equipment you could want. The upstairs bedroom /living room is so cosy and it was wonderful to have coffee in bed whilst looking out over the views towards Derwent Water. There is a parking space just for the cottage, a little “honesty shop” just outside and a small portable sauna run by an independent company but onsite which you can book (for a fee) and wild swimming in the river. You can hike up Catbells right from the cottage door. Very clean and comfortable with friendly owners. We will definitely be back!
I have nothing negative to say except maybe a footstool in-front of the sofa would be a welcome addition to rest legs after a day’s hiking. Everything else is perfect.
