The rooms were comfortable and warm. They provided 2 heaters and plenty of blankets.
Restaurant was superb busy due to the flower festival but staff were very polite and we didn't have to wait too long for meals.
Very good location.
Shared bathrooms were very clean and well stocked.

Shower cubicle too small. Other shower over a bath tub. Only one toilet for women on our side of pub.

While there was a breakfast room, where guests could help themselves to cereal, toast, and tea or coffee, most of the supplies had been exhausted by the following morning, with no replenishment, prior to our checking out.
The building is old and probably needs the wiring upgraded. An oil convection heater in the breakfast room, tripped a circuit breaker, when used in conjunction with an electric kettle. A small fan heater, in our bedroom, tripped out a circuit breaker, taking out the bedside lamp.
