I liked the house, kid had great fun going up and down the stairs. Lovely bush trails nearby along the inlet. Good signage and access to get there.
The linen, beds and couches were nice quality and very comfy. We loved that their was a DVD player. The house is very echoy as it is on stilts but we didn't mind that.
There was no fire place so we were freezing the whole time. We had to wear puffer jackets to have dinner. The cheap heaters provided didn't do much. IT NEEDS A FIRE PLACE.
The view was blocked by a building site which was super loud Thursday and Friday.
Neither the blocked view or building works was mentioned in the ad.
There was no sugar and other staples missing from pantry, like a teapot but no loose tea.
If elderly, disabled or little kids came to stay the entry/exit would be pretty hazardous. A safer access route would be good.
There was bits of food in oven and foil in the fridge. Other than that very clean.
The washer had broken buttons, the dryer was useless and the dishwasher was crazy complex to work.
