Hotel Canal Salieri

I'd like to rate this hotel with a 5 stars only based in our experience and in the room where we stayed. After reading many reviews on different sites we were a bit scared about what to expect upon our arrival. First of all, we contacted with the hotel a couple of days before our arrival to ensure there would be someone to handle the checking. The answer was fast and correctly. At the checking they assigned us the room number 6 at the second floor, with the key and the door code to enter at any time. Yes, there is not elevator, but this is specified at some booking websites. The room was clean, double bed (two mattreses) with air conditioning, a window to the interior patio, with views to the garden of the lower restaurant. The toilet, with wc, bidet, wahsbasin, and shower with enclosure. There was a cabinet with some hangers and aditional bedding, a small table with a kettle and complimentary tea. Regarding the staff, we can only say that they were completly attentive to our requests at all times and we want to thank them for their kindness and the thoughful gesture upon our departure. We stayed at the hotel for four nights. The location is about 20-30 minutes walking from the main interest sites, and only 5 minutes from the Piazzale Roma, where you can take the bus for any of the Airports. They can storage your bagagge until you have to go after leave the room at 10am. We want to emphasize that our opinion is based on our experience and the expecific room we stayed in, we don't know what the others might be like. Bus and train stations. Docks to take the vaporetto around Venice or islands (Burano, Murano, Torcello) There is a restaurant with an interior garden just close to the hotel door, a Gelateria, a Pasticceria for breakfast just crossing the nearest bridge and many other restaurants very close. There is not elevator, so, you have to go upstairs with your baggage, and in case of disability person could be difficult to go up.

There was a small TV but not working or remote missing. Anyway, if you go to Venice for sure you don't need it.

スタッフの対応がよかった。 バス停も近く、マルコポーロ空港へのアクセスも抜群。

・1日目はハウスキーピングがされていなかった。 ・バスタオルは宿泊日数の枚数分、あらかじめ部屋に置いてあるが、使用後のタオルが都度回収されていないのが少し残念でした。
