We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place. The house has a lot of character, has been beautifully renovated, and is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The property itself is picturesque, with a fantastic pool, plenty of space to relax, and stunning views over the valley. Watching the sunsets from the pool was a real highlight.
One of the things we enjoyed most was staying on the farm itself. The house is surrounded by vineyards and citrus trees, and it was a lovely experience to stroll through the grounds, pick fresh oranges and other fruit, and enjoy them straight from the tree.
The location is very convenient, offering easy access to both the coast and the Peneda-Gerês National Park, making it a great base for exploring the region.
The hosts were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always easy to reach. Diamantino was especially helpful and always available whenever we needed anything, which made us feel very well looked after.
The only minor drawback is that the road nearby can be a little noisy during the day due to passing traffic, but it never really bothered us, and the nights were peaceful and quiet.
