Tideturn House is a beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean place to enjoy a family break. It has great facilities, is spacious and was equipped with everything we needed, even the teenagers were very happy! It is a very short walk from the pretty harbour, lovely beaches and lots of choices of places to eat. We really enjoyed the local area, a favourite point being a trip around Puffin Island. The host communicated well with us and responded to our requests in a very friendly and accommodating manner. We would definitely recommend both Tideturn House and Amble. Thank you Lara and family for a very enjoyable visit!

Spacious bedrooms and the location was very central to the main part of the town. House was very clean and the smart TV was also very useful. Also timed it perfectly to take a boat trip out to see the puffins and seals.

Just a small couple of things would help when newly arrived. If you had a small welcome book with some phamplets of local goings on and also details of bars restaurants etc also just a quick note about recycling rubbish would also be useful as we were unsure until we went into the back alley to find the recycle bin

Some areas need more attention to cleaning. Bath/shower almost impossible to get into, when you open the shower screen to access the bath it scrapes off your knees and the back of your knees are pressed against the toilet.
