We received a very warm welcome from the host and were even gifted a beach basket as a welcome present, which was a really nice touch. We were also given plenty of recommendations for places to visit, and overall, Nadette was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, including a barbecue for outdoor meals. This place can easily accommodate two families.
There were a couple of minor issues during our stay. First, there was ongoing construction on the two neighboring houses. The home is located in a new, rapidly developing neighborhood, so during weekdays, there were quite a few workers around. Due to the close proximity, they were sometimes visible from the backyard, which made it feel less private.
Secondly, we experienced an issue with water not draining properly in one of the showers. However, Nadette was very responsive and offered to fix the problem, so I hope future guests won’t encounter this.
Also, pay attention that there is a second floor which has separate apartments. During our stay, no one lived there, though.
