Strategic Location & Delicious BreakfastsAntonietta and her son Gaetano were superior hosts and made us feel so at home. Antonietta was incredibly generous, providing an enormous and delicious breakfast every day, as well as homemade sweet treats and beverages for the afternoons/evenings. Gaetano, who is multi-lingual, was very helpful in suggesting day trips for us and was informative with details, such as parking and transportation options. Our room was super clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed time on the balcony with the charming view. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The door to the balcony fascinated my husband, who is so intrigued by European engineering. We also appreciated being able to do some laundry and hang it off of our balcony. Agerola is central to the Amalfi Coast and the southern Bay of Naples. By car, we were able to explore the charming village of Ravello and the breathtaking views from Villa Chimprano, Pompeii and Vesuvius, as well as Sorrento. The lovely Path of the Gods is a must for hikers and will take you from Agerola to Positano. Important to know, if you stay in this gem and are traveling by car, you will need a small car to navigate the street and parking to the house.
