Self check-in through a key in a lock box with a designated parking space right outside the door. The beautifully decorated flat is in a great location right opposite a Tesco express which is very handy, while the beach, high Street and takeaways are all very close by. The first floor flat is very spacious and clean on arrival with everything you need to have a wonderful short break or longer. Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and even a tub of celebrations were all there for us which was a nice thought. The bed/mattress was fine, some may find it a bit soft for their liking but when you stay away from home it's highly unlikely you'll find it as comfortable as your own bed and that is to be expected. However we had two good nights sleep on it as did our kids on the sofa bed in the living room, which was very good compared to other sofa beds we have experienced in the past. Nice electric shower (no bath), no problems with hot water. Lovely big kitchen with everything you need to cater for your stay, if you prefer there is a fish and chip shop, Indian takeaway, Chinese takeaway and unique takeaway which does a bit of everything all close enough to walk. There was a clear and extensive info booklet and details regarding WiFi which all worked well. The outside rear space viewed from the flat appears to be a work in progress but that didn't bother us at all. We very much enjoyed our stay in the the flat and Mersea itself and would definitely recommend to family and friends visiting the area. Thanks for a lovely bank holiday weekend getaway.

L'emplacement de l'appartement est idéalement bien placé. Il est en face d'un tesco (ce qui est très pratique). Les restaurants sont à 15 mn à pieds. On a une place de parking devant la maison. Kim nous a accueilli avec une très belle boite de chocolats et des ballons. L'appartement est très propre. On se croit comme à la maison. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Pour les clefs, elles sont dans une boite à digicode. Kim vous envoie le code le jour où vous arrivez.
Juste un petit hic, c'est le matelas du lit qui est extrêmement mou. Mais ce n'est qu'un détail par rapport au reste.
Merci pour votre accueil et merci de nous avoir dépanné en venant nous voir, nous pensions avoir un problème avec la box.
