Lisieux is a town with a very special atmosphere thanks to the Basilique shining on the hill and the spiritual footsteps of Saint Therese. I managed to visit all the important places connected to her life here, and I fully recommend. The house was very close to the railway station and just a few minutes' walk to the Basilique, Carmel and centre of the town. The owner of the house was very friendly, helpful, and nice. I greatly appreciate his giving me a lift in his car on a rainy morning. The room is very nicely equipped and cosy. Also, the garden and yard of the house and the view from the room were lovely.
