This is an exceptional place to stay. My wife, a friend and I stayed here while attending a wedding in Wyresdale Park - but it is a little gem of a place I would definitely come back to in future now that I know of it.
Firstly, the property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is exceptionally clean - something I worry about with rental houses/apartments, but did not need to in this case. Furnishings are new and in excellent condition, and it has everything you would expect you would need for a few days away. There are two double rooms upstairs in the property, with a kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom downstairs (note this has only a shower, but it is a very good one).
Our host, Jude, did everything they could to help make the stay as easy as possible. Their communication was prompt, clear and warm throughout. We enquired about a slightly earlier arrival time as we wanted a quick change/prep before heading to the wedding and fortunately for us they were able to accommodate us without fuss (of course this cannot be expected of any host, given it’s beyond their core offering and subject to availability and cleaning schedules, but it just lent into how much they tried to make our experience a good one).
Beyond the house itself, the property is conveniently located on the edge of Scorton. It has off-street parking, views over fields and it is close to a local shop, restaurant (The Barn) and a garden centre/cafe which does excellent breakfast (all walkable). It is also, unsurprisingly, a great place to stay when attending weddings at Wyresdale Park, which is about a 20-25min walk (saves a taxi if you bring appropriate footwear).
Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for accommodation in the area I would say look no further.

Everything. This was a lovely property. We took our own salt, pepper, oil, shampoo, conditioner etc but everything was provided. Even had a welcome pack of lancashire crisps snd farm biscuits

Absolutely everything! Great location just off M6. The host was very friendly, provided great communication and was so helpful. The property is spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped with a real fire that was ready to just light ( the property had central heating too tho) and a great shower.
