Lovely touches throughout-having breakfast things, condiments, nice shower gel etc. Very thoughtful. Great that we could bring two extra children at the last minute and the host made the beds up in advance, which was a lovely touch.
The heating didn't work. The camp bed was uncomfortable, and we wish we'd known that one of the pull-out beds was 2 single matresses as would have slept on that.
I was a bit stressed about how to get into the place and had to contact the host for information-maybe that could have been made a bit clearer in advance.

It had everything we needed for a short stay exploring the area. It was warm and comfortable and extremely well equipped.
The unit is a bit tired looking

A quiet, cosy cottage, great heating, all necessary facilities for a self contained stay. This accommodation goes above and beyond in supplying a range of grocery items for the convenience of the guest. We didn't have to do any shopping for the first 48 hours. The sofa bed is comfortable enough. Easy walk to the general store and pub.
The wifi was patchy at best.
