We were attending a wedding in a neighbouring village so the property location was really central and made it easy to access. Having parking on site was really handy. We were originally a party of 6 and so the apartment size was our main requirement and having 3 double rooms was just perfect. The host was excellent at communicating and very quick to respond to messages. We received everything we needed to know in advance, which made the long journey less stressful. If we had known the village was the childhood home of Ed Sheeran, we would have stayed longer!
It was a very old property and so configuring for modern day use is obviously not always feasible. Hence why I would say if there had been an extra toilet, it would have been a bonus.

We had a great message before we got there with photos explaining parking and how to get in. The host responded to questions sent via text within a couple of minutes. He knew we had a 2 year old with us and had put a basket of age appropriate toys in the lounge which was a lovely touch and there were other great touches around the apartment which made it a really lovely stay. It was a great location just by the castle as well. 😊
